Fabularium is a platform that lets you enjoy a bunch of text-based adventures, all of them created by an active community of users around the world.
Using Fabularium is really easy. All you have to do is import the document inside the interactive book and select it using its 'Play' menu. Once you've done that, the text will open before your eyes and you can start reading and making decisions. The list of formats that are compatible with Fabularium is surprisingly long. Some of the most common ones include Adrift , AdvSys, The Adventure Game Toolkit (AGT), Alan (second and third versions), Glulx, Hugo, Level 9, Magnetic Scrolls, Scott Adams Adventures (Scottfree), Tads (second and third versions) and Zcode (Infocom).
One of the most interesting features in Fabularium is its commitment to accessibility. So much so, that it's compatible with tools such as TalkBack, Google's screen reader and accessories such as 'Explore the touch' and 'Lift to Type'. In addition, the interface is totaly customizable and you can modify the font size and color, layout, and many other elements with the click of a button.
Fabularium also includes the tools that you need to create your very own adventures in a really quick and simple way. Although the app doesn't include a default text-basedl games, you can download the ones available for free by accessing websites such as www.ifdb.tads.org or www.ifarchive.org.
